    2024-SIGNIFICANT WAGE INCREASE and SIGN-ON BONUS Our Medical Imaging team is looking for a MRI Technologist to join us in taking great care of our patients. This position will work Monday through Friday from 1:00PM to 9:30PM, leaving you the mornings and weekends for some great work-life balance. This position helps with call on rotation.     Apply today JOB SUMMARY: Operates MRI equipment, performs data manipulation and processing to produce diagnostic images. Consistently screens patients and staff for contraindications before allowing entry into MRI scan room. Thoroughly explains and educates patients about procedure. Reinforces patient compliance issues throughout the exam to consistently produce motion-free diagnostic images. Uses good judgement and discretion by consulting with radiologist when appropriate. Processes, manipulates, sends images to PACS, prepares room, equipment, supplies, and contrast media. Provides compassionate patient care during imaging procedures. Records information for the patient's medical record. Must be able to take call rotation. QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Graduated from Radiological Technology Training in a JCERT approved school program.
    • Current ARRT registry card on file.
    • Venipuncture skills preferred but will train if necessary.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
    • Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Able to work in latex burdened environment.
    • Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing.
    • Able to frequently lift up to 60 pounds, reach, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel.
    • Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read, write, and evaluate medical images.
    • Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the telephone.
    • Able to hear, see and feel to accurately observe, monitor, and administer care.
    • Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e., operate imaging equipment, develop film, venipuncture).
