Job summary
The DSS Accountability Office (DSS-AO) is responsible for protecting the integrity of social services programs administered by the New York City Department of Social Services (DSS). The office conducts complex internal audits and quality control reviews to identify areas of programmatic deficiencies.Responsibilities
- Review POS, HRA One Viewer of imaged/scanned documents, Welfare Management System (WMS) data and other pertinent data to obtain information on the current financial status and eligibility criteria of cases in receipt of SNAP benefits.
- Determine accuracy of benefits issued and compare to State Quality Control error findings or to the month under review in the EQAS audit.
