    Sales Account Manager Job Description

    The Sales Account Manager will drive and support sales efforts in the Boston, MA territory by implementing sales/marketing strategies for GenScript products and services. This role requires residing within the Greater Boston area.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work with the Global Commercial Head to grow and develop an assigned sales territory for GenScript product/service lines and achieve sales goals for the assigned territory.
    • Collaborate with FAS, TAM team, and MKT team to build the GenScript brand and meet sales objectives.
    • 30% of time dedicated to quote and lead follow-up, account management, and 70% of time traveling in the field making customer visits and building relationships.

    Job Requirements:

    • Master's degree or above in a life science area or Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of lab experience.
    • Relevant sales experience required (1-5 years) with high technical and professional expertise.
    • Knowledge of the Biological and CRO or CDMO market or general biotech industry.

    Salary Information:

    $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
