    Job Title: Project Purchasing - Buyer

    Position Responsibilities

    The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:

    • Leading and controlling purchasing projects to achieve targets.
    • Review and analyze cost.
    • Collecting data to release to the Buyer for quoting activity.
    • Communicating the progress of the project to team members and executives.
    • Preparing necessary presentation material for meetings.
    • Maintaining purchasing project documents; such as tracking sheet and reports.
    • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

    • Microsoft Office (Excel)
    • Negotiation Skills
    • Document Management

    Beneficial Skills and Experience

    • 1-5 years of previous Purchasing and/or Project experience

    Education/Training/Certifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, other Applied Science, or Purchasing supply chain management is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business or other non-technical area is acceptable based on proven technical skill.

    Travel Requirements

    • Approximately 20 %
    • Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
