    Job Description Summary

    This role will assist to execute all accounting, closing, and pacing activities for a given portfolio of projects to ensure timely and accurate financials.

    Areas of responsibility include assisting with project set up, performing contract margin reviews, forecast validation, project milestone billing, monthly & quarterly closing activities.

    Role / Job Description:
    As the GSI Project Finance Control Analyst Intern, key responsibilities include:
    Process management & people coordination

    • Responsible for timely and correct booking (Margin as Sold, current as sold, and current forecast) from order booking to project completion.
    • Ensure that project data reporting is in line between ERP and approved Project Reviews in Unifier according to budget deviation approved.
    • Prepare and participate in cash sessions: identification of invoicing triggering events, invoice format, steps from invoice generation until payment, preparation of project cash instruction.
    • Forex revaluation
    • Develop strong relationships and continuous communication flows with all project controllers in Project Participating units to ensure that working assumptions are shared, consistent and reported in a timely manner.
    • Ownership of timely invoicing with documentation and cash collection on the project.
    • Coordinate and effectively manage all internal financial interfaces on the project such as participating units

    Relocation Assistance:


    Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment.

    Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles from the work location are eligible.


    Housing Allowance:


    Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern's permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.


    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
    • Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale (without rounding).
    • Language:
    English (fluent speaking and writing)

    • Able to commit to 6 months internship period with possible extension.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship
