    Position Summary
    The University at Buffalo's Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a dynamic and innovative hub of research and academic excellence. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Research Support Specialist in the Core Instrument Facility.

    Job Duties include:
    • Coordinating the open access core instrument facility within the department.
    • Maintenance of instrumentation within facility.
    • General facility upkeep, maintenance.
    • Instruct in portions of undergraduate and graduate courses that involve practical or theoretical use of analytical techniques.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field or appropriate combination of education and/or experience
    • Previous experience operating and maintaining analytical instruments, preferably in an academic environment
    Preferred Qualifications
    Master's in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field

    Physical Demands
    Salary Range $70,000 - $75,000
    Additional Salary Information The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
