Description

Carolina Precision Technologies (CPT) is a leading precision manufacturer serving the medical and aerospace sectors. Specializing in implants, surgical instruments, cutting tools, and delivery systems for orthopedic, sports medicine, and trauma applications, we are currently looking for a full-time CNC Lathe Setup/Programmer at our Putnam, CT facility. The ideal candidate should have production environment experience, effective communication skills, and a quick learning ability.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Setup and program CNC Lathes and/or turn/mills
• Operate machines efficiently when not programming or setting up
• Inspect parts as per print and process documentation
• Maintain a safe work environment by clearing chips

Qualifications and Skills

Preferred Experience:

• 1 to 5 years in a machine shop environment
• Experience with CAM software such as part maker/Mastercam
• Proficient in using micrometers, gauging, and comparator
• Familiarity with Eurotech machines and Fanuc controls
• Ability in blue print reading

Minimum Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Strong math skills
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
