    Description
    Responsible for providing analytical and data management support for Saint Anthony Hospital compensation program.

    This role will aid in the administration of compensation programs, guidelines, and processes in alignment with Saint Anthony Hospital policies.

    Performs research and recommends cost-effective changes that meet employee and organizational needs. Assists in fulfilling all reporting requirements of relevant government agencies.


    Essential Functions:
    Assists in managing compensation, job, and position data, data integrity, reporting and automation, participants in system integrations and processes.
    Conducts data analysis, financial modeling, performance metric tracking and research projects, including pay equity analysis.
    Assists with salary planning, salary surveys, merit pay, compensation training and audit processes.
    Coordinate compensation processes and projects.
    Reviews compensation data and job descriptions for consistency and accuracy
    Develops, organizes, and maintains centralized job description library.
    Directly conducts bench-marking, competitive market analysis, job evaluation, and internal pay for performance analyses.

    Participates in salary surveys to ensure that hospital compensation practices are competitive with market trends and consistent with internal compensation and recruitment strategies.

    Develop data visualizations, presentations, communications, and materials related to the implementation of compensation programs and processes.

    May provide HRIS support in ensuring the accuracy of position classifications, including job codes, titles, FLSA statues, conducting periodic classification audits.

    Maintains knowledge of employment law and assures compliance with regulatory agencies.

    Reviews and analyzes changes to local, state, and federal laws related to compensation and benefits and reports/recommends changes to management.

    Actively contributes as a team member within Human Resources, participating in and completing special projects and assignments as needed.


    General Job requirements:
    BS in Business Administration or HR, or equivalent.
    Minimum of 2 years as a compensation analyst.
    Strong technical compensation skills required. Healthcare compensation, including physician compensation experience highly preferred.
    Excellent problem-solving, analytical, planning and organizing, communications, teamwork, and innovation skills.
    Requires strategic thinking and the ability to identify industry trends and emerging issues in healthcare and compensation.
    Ability to conduct research of salary surveys, job descriptions and compensation reviews.
    Ability to relate well with and influence strong, independent thinkers.
    Professional presence and demeanor; ability to stay calm in contentious situations.
    CEBS, CCP/CBP and SPHR/PHR certification preferred.
    Computer proficiency related to working with HRIS systems.

    Strong Microsoft Office skills:
    advanced EXCEL skills required.
