    Job Opportunity:


    Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting On-Site opportunity for a talented QA Automation Lead to join the team and lead our Automation initiatives.

    This role will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests.

    This position will play an important role in delivering high-quality and efficient software to the end users, through means of automated testing procedures.


    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Coordinate with functional testing teams to identify test cases that are candidates for automation, and obtain an understanding of the workflow, and supporting data requirements.

    Drive the building of test strategies & and methodologies, automation, and site monitoring focused on infrastructure and high availability.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, subject matter experts, and vendor resources.

    Communicate and track any quality risks, gaps, or issues in the Automation Code.
    Communicate the status of Automation testing initiatives to the stakeholder groups and lead triage meetings.
    Peer-review automation scripts and validate compliance to coding standards and confirm that scripts are functioning according to requirements.
    Continually improve the test Automation infrastructure, tools, and processes.
    Able to develop a common framework for all the Enterprise Applications.

    Define quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, and testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Automation.

    Act as the primary point of contact for all Automation aspects of releases.
    Develop, maintain, and operationalize Automation test plans.
    Work with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution.
    Ownership of QA automation across a wide variety of both operational and enterprise applications.
    Effective time management, with the ability to execute and prioritize multiple projects at the same time.


    Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
    8+ years of Experience in Test AutomationExperience Automating web and client server-based applications.
    Knowledge of Database Concepts.
    Hands-on Automation experience using Selenium, Katalon Studio, Postman, and other Automation tools.
    Experience in Developing Automation frameworks with integration of CI/CD tools.
    Knowledge of defect systems such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Quality Center, or any other defect management tool.
    Onshore and offshore co-ordination.
    Bachelors in computer science, Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
    Hands-on experience in building Automation frameworks.
