- Years of Experience: 6 months - 1 year of general construction experience
- Certifications: None required
- Driver License: Not required
- Must be self-motivated, open minded, and able to accept constructive criticism
- Soldering experience is a plus (Must be willing to work with Copper/Brass/Stainless/Mild Steel/Aluminum)
- Knowledge of the basic Safety techniques and procedures
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize task and meet deadlines according to instructions received
- Ability to organize, plan, and execute work assignments
- Interpersonal skills necessary to work on a team
- Ability to read and use tape measure, mark, or record distances
- General basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
- Ability to perform general physical activities
- Ability to identify problems and communicate them to foreman in order to accomplish work
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner according to instructions received
- Clean up debris from work area
- Physical ability to stand and walk, lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds regularly
- Apply adhesives, caulking, sealants
- Requires standing up for long periods of time
- Requires seeing details at close range
- Requires repetitive movement, bending or twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping or crawling
- Requires working in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions, in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures, includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.
- May include exposure to contaminants, hazardous material, or equipment requiring proper PPE
- Mistakes are not easily correctable and have serious consequences, therefore Safety procedures must be followed
