Exciting Opportunity for Inpatient Pharmacist in Missouri

Join our dynamic healthcare team in Missouri as a Clinical/Staff Pharmacist, where your expertise and commitment will play a crucial role in patient care.

As a 24-hour on-call presence in patient care areas, you'll maintain comprehensive drug profiles, monitor drug therapy, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize drug regimens and patient care plans.

Your responsibilities will encompass product selection, storage, compounding, administration, and quality assurance for both inpatients and outpatients. Additionally, you will provide vital training and supervision to pharmacy technicians.

With a focus on promoting rational drug therapy, you'll actively engage in patient profile management, dosing parameter establishment, and protection against adverse drug reactions.

Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy, your role will involve participation in patient care evaluation programs, preparation of educational materials, and utilization of online drug information sources for quality control and formulary management.

If you are a Pharmacist with a BS degree (MS, PharmD preferred), completion of a Pharmacy internship, Missouri State Board of Pharmacy licensure, and BLS certification, we want to hear from you


Qualifications:

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Pharmacy with a BS degree (MS, PharmD preferred).
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of Pharmacy internship, Missouri State Board of Pharmacy licensure, and BLS certification.

Work Experience: 1-3 years of hospital experience preferred; residency desirable.
