    Job Summary — The Process Engineer will work with CIH counterparts to ensure business processes and efficiencies are established, communicated and improved. This role will require a large amount of collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the network. This role will facilitate the alignment of processes across business units in addition to assisting in the creation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Visual Work Instructions (VWIs) and participation on a variety of Center of Excellence (COEs) efforts.

    The Process Engineer is responsible and accountable for:

    • Performing multifaceted support to the internal resources to create / improve process documentation
    • Providing facilitation of discussions for problem solving when needed
    • Oversee the execution and validation of 8Ds to ensure problems are being addressed in a timely manner
    • Working with all appropriate personnel in all departments to ensure ideas for improvement become transparent to the broader organization for ideation / execution
    • Assisting in building SOPs which will lead to development of Aptura Group Quality Management System (QMS)
    • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

    Essential Functions

    1. Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Process Mapping, 8Ds, Change Management)
    2. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio and creating instructions
    3. Yellow Belt certification preferred
    4. Sound verbal and written communication skills
    5. Facilitate discussions between departments to find mutually beneficial solutions
    6. Oversee the 8D process and ensure all sites are aware of how to utilize the tool
    7. Successfully navigate organization for change management

    Experience & Other Requirements

    • Continuous Improvement experience preferred (2+ years)
    • Pre-employment background/drug screening
    • Prior project management experience a plus
    • Clear communication, active listening skills
    • Clean driving record
