    We are adding a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to our award-winning team
    *Full time, Part time, Per diem

    *Shift:
    • Rotating shifts
    • On-call rotation for weeknights, weekends and holidays is required.
    • Specializes in the application of scientific knowledge and theory to practical clinical problems of respiratory care. Assumes primary clinical responsibility for all respiratory care modalities specific to his or her clinical area.
    • Involved in supervision of Respiratory Therapy Technicians and students enrolled in respiratory care programs.
    • May be required to exercise considerable independent clinical judgement in the respiratory care of patients under the direct or indirect supervision of a physician
    • Graduation from a CoARC accredited program in respiratory care with an Associates Degree required. Bachelor's Degree desirable.
    * *Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) *with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required *and *licensed by the State of New York or practicing under limited permit as a Respiratory Therapist.

    • Graduate therapists who hold a permit to practice as a Respiratory Therapist will also be hired into this category, with a 5% reduction in salary until the RRT credential and therapist license are obtained.
    *Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
