    Description

    Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician at Warn Automotive

    Under general supervision, the Electrical Maintenance Technician at Warn Automotive supports the company's electrical needs through installing, repairing, replacing, and maintaining electrical equipment, fixtures, and systems. They complete electrical preventative maintenance and TPM projects, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, demonstrate competency in programming PLCs, and assist engineering tasks when needed.

    Essential Job Functions Include:

    • Work safely and without injury.
    • Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical equipment and systems.
    • Perform assigned work in compliance with the National Electric Code.
    • Maintain an electrical log of new construction work performed.
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electro-mechanical equipment and systems.
    • Review work requests for electrical repairs and maintenance.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections.
    • Use hand and power tools to perform duties.
    • Responsible for attendance as scheduled.
    • May perform additional maintenance tasks.
    • Participate in team meetings.
    • Implement Quality Policy and Procedures.
    • Work on PLC programming and personal computer applications.
    • Understand control systems and manufacturing machinery.
    • Identify root causes and recommend improvements.
    • Engage with engineering on automation projects.
    • Perform various assigned duties.

    Education and/or Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Two or more years of Manufacturing Plant Electrical experience preferred.
    • Current State of Oregon Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant License or State of Oregon General Journeyman Licensed required.
    • Two-year technical school in control systems preferred.

    Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Ability to program PLCs.
    • Ability to use personal computer window applications.
    • Ability to troubleshoot machinery.
    • Professional interaction with other employees.
    • Work with minimal supervision.
    • Collaborative and effective working relationships.
    • Problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to facilitate project activities.
