    Assistant Director Overnight Operations 315 West 35th Street - New York, United States - BRC

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Oversee overnight operations of Transit Outreach program
    • Supervise team to meet program goals
    • Represent program to partnering agencies
    • Manage data collection for reporting and service needs
    • Generate required reports in a timely manner
    • Develop and maintain training program for staff
    • Share 24-hour on-call responsibilities
    • Provide emergency CPR/First Aid or Overdose prevention


    HOURS:
    Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
    Monday - Friday; 11PM – 7:30AM

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    LMSW preferred. Bachelors degree required. Significant homeless outreach experience. Strong supervisory experience. Understanding of homelessness issues. Leadership and clinical skills. Critical thinking skills. Valid driver's license. Basic computer literacy. Bilingual preferred. CPR training certification desired.
    *Vaccination encouraged but not mandatory.

    PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

    Jointly funded by the Department of Homeless Services and Metropolitan Transportation Authority, BRC's Transit Homeless Outreach team operates 24/7 within the transit system. Since 2005, BRC has been providing outreach and case management services to assist homeless individuals in relocating from MTA properties. Serving NYC metropolitan area, Transit Homeless Outreach aims to connect clients with housing and essential services.
