- Repair and maintain electronic equipment such as audio, video sound, and projections systems
- Assist with upgrades and new installations of complex audio, video, projection, automated control, switching, and distribution systems, maintain system service information and personal daily work logs
- Tour the property and monitor all systems to verify proper operation
- Provide quality control on audio/visual (A/V) systems to maintain proper operation
- Answer telephone calls and respond to service requests for various departments
- Perform preventive maintenance on audio/visual equipment and systems, troubleshoot the audio/visual system, and look for any potential problems
- Prepare take-off and estimates for projects, complete all jobs as assigned by Dispatch and Management
- Advise manager of all work orders and/or projects currently being worked on, schedule projects, and materials needed, organize and prioritize projects as they are requested
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments within the Property and Casino, maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention
- Drive and operate company vehicle to work off the property and obtain needed parts and equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer preferably in a Hotel or industrial complex property
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
