Description
JOB SUMMARY* The Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer performs routine and interventional ultrasound exams according to department protocols under the supervision of a qualified Physician for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases.
The technologist is to provide very good service; that is to treat every patient with respect, courtesy and explain the exam to the patient.
The technologist must be able to work together with others providing a positive work environment. The technologist is responsible to provide a safe environment for the patients, fellow employees and themselves.GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
WORKING CONDITIONS* General environment:
Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area, with moderate noise levels.
