- Offering technical support to Production by troubleshooting processes and equipment issues.
- Supporting projects and activities to enhance production indices, HSE initiatives, product quality, and service.
- Collaborating with Lean resources, maintenance, production, and quality to achieve targets.
- Engaging with suppliers on equipment and quality issues.
- Working effectively as a team member to ensure goals are met and taking necessary remedial action actively.
- Engaging in lean manufacturing initiatives as assigned (5S, value stream mapping, set-up reduction, etc.)
- Advocating for a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Staying updated on relevant industry and production technologies to advance manufacturing processes within the facility.
- Acting as a liaison between Engineering and production shop floor.
- Communicating customer change notices to the shop floor and providing feedback on discrepancies.
- Conducting minor fixture adjustments, layup of parts for FAI, trimming tasks.
- Performing measurements using hand measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.

- Prior experience in composites or similar industry preferred
- Strong problem-solving ability, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, reach, bend consistently, and occasionally lift 50 lbs.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task production environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organizational and prioritization skills for workload management.
- Initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work harmoniously with others while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Proven satisfactory work record in terms of performance, attendance, and teamwork.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, handle issues logically, and comply with company guidelines.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.

ROLE SUMMARY
Support all Manufacturing engineering activities related to the requirements of the assigned Carfair site. Support Manufacturing Engineering projects to improve production indices, support HSE initiatives, quality improvement, and Lean initiatives. Provides hands-on technical support to production.
