    The Role

    We're looking fora Senior Manager, Consultingwho can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Manager, you will analyze our insurance clients' business and technology challenges and build creative solutions to drive transformation. You will be responsible for participating in the requirements analysis process, developing strong working relationships with clients and team members, and building industry and domain expertise. Specifically, as a Senior Business Analyst, you have the opportunity to deliver immediate value to clients by working with a project-based team of consultants.

    This role is for a Business Architect/Functional Lead who demonstrates strong leadership abilities, is knowledgeable in Duck Creek Policy platform & P&C insurance domain and can work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

    Responsibilities:

  • This individual will work with large implementation teams and work directly with clients to solve business problems.
  • Will be a liaison between business and IT and is expected to understand business problems and propose solutions using Duck Creek knowledge.
  • Potential candidate will work in a team setting, providing guidance to less senior team members, communicating status to the client and project manager, and help keeping the project moving from a requirements aspect.
  • Will independently ensure that the quality of a developed product has met the acceptance criteria for client delivery by providing in-depth knowledge of approved business and testing requirements, insurance, and technical aspects of Duck Creek products.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group to include executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Ability to understand the business issues and data challenges of the customer and collaborate with the team to build and present solutions
  • Lead meetings with stakeholders to determine priorities and critical path items necessary to achieve defined objectives according to plan.
  • Ability to lead daily stand-up meetings for BA/Tech/QA team members if team size requires
  • Ability to provide expert guidance in the understanding of the insurance product and business needs of the customer
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to generate and deliver informative and well-organized presentations
  • Ability to collaborate with a cross-geo business and technical team when nonstandard requirements / customization requests are identified to provide alternative business solutions and work arounds to meet the client's needs
  • Ability to assist with program management activities such as Identification of project risks and collaborate with the team to implement mitigation plans that follow through to risk closure
  • Collaborate with team members (business, technical, quality) to ensure clarity and understanding of the business requirements, success criteria and outcomes desired by the client

    Qualifications:
    · Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field.
    · Background in Management Education - Master's degree preferred.

    Required Skills:

    * 8+ years of experience as a Business Architect with strong Insurance, P&C domain background.
    * Must have Duck Creek Policy experience.
    * Experience in managing and prioritizing a product backlog from inception through implementation go live to include full program dependency planning to ensure cohesive delivery across the program lifecycle (Items such as integrations, client led deliverables, etc.)
    * Should own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for your assigned Agile team, and ensure alignment between roadmap and product-level Objectives and Key Results.
    * Should have consulting skills, including effective communication, expectation management, and results delivery.
    * Deep knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business.
    * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, leadership, and business partners.
    * Execution focused with the ability to distill business needs into a clear execution plan.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    Applications will be accepted until 4/30/2024.

    The annual salary for this position is between $130,000.00 to $180,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
