Job summary
LATICRETE International is seeking an experienced Benefits Specialist to implement administer communicate all benefit programs including medical dental vision life disability voluntary benefits wellness 401k deferred compensation workers compensation leaves of absence. The ideal candidate will develop maintain day-to-day relationships with plan vendors review processes issues changes ensure compliance government filings notices postings plan documents contracts SPDs ACA FMLA COBRA ERISA QDRO MSO Annual Audits labor posters benefit trends legal changes legislative impact on benefit programs.
Responsibilities
- Health Welfare Benefits Administration: oversee administration employee benefit programs health insurance wellness disability insurance FMLA Administration life AD&D insurance EAP provide guidance employee questions ensure comprehension plan designs details act liaison broker employee troubleshoot claims issues ensure accuracy file feeds maintains updates resolves data issues carriers manage Annual Open Enrollment process systems communications active retiree COBRA maintain distribute current benefits information compliance documents locations intranet content work internal accounting team external consultants monitor claims funding billing reconcile resolve billing discrepancies broker carriers perform routine self-audits prepare reports HR Finance Accounting teams ensure appropriate document retention federal state laws policies.
- Onboarding Ancillary Benefits Communications HR Administration: partner Manager Human Resources HR team develops implements ongoing benefits communications strategy reviews pays periodic vendor invoices tracks expenses consulting trust expenses conduct formal onboarding meeting new hires review Workday benefits elections education required tasks administration Unemployment Claims reviews tracks records eligibility disbursement Tuition Education Reimbursement plans wellness events tracks wellness funding budget ensures processes properly maintained updated documentation medical files personnel files I-9 documentation etc creates modifies processes configuration working closely internal HRIS payroll Finance identify research resolve issues works external vendors accurate configuration maintenance supporting systems processes file feeds interfaces workflow underlying subgroup structures responsible holiday calendar prescription safety glass benefits tuition reimbursement employee recognition monitoring group email boxes.
