TexDoor, a company that distributes residential and commercial garage doors in San Antonio, Texas, is in search of a skilled diesel mechanic to be part of their team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair on all company vehicles
• Perform repair and maintenance on golf carts and forklifts
• Perform advanced maintenance tasks such as transmission flush machines, brake flush machines, and A/C machines
• Maintain detailed maintenance and repair logs for vehicles and equipment
• Manage inventory of replacement parts and equipment
• Inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
• Keep the workshop clean and organize tools/parts
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and core values consistently
• Complete any other relevant duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of vehicle and trailer repair
• Experience with advanced maintenance machines like transmission flush machines, brake flush machines, and A/C machines
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to follow instructions and use scan tools
• Proficiency in working with computers, power tools, and hand tools
• Aptitude to read service and repair manuals, diagnose, and test
• Efficient completion of assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's authorization
• Experience with golf carts, forklifts, big rigs, and trailers of all sizes, with experience in BG products being a bonus

Requirements:

• Must have own tools and toolbox for mechanical work on vehicles
• Perform repair and maintenance on gasoline and diesel engines of various sizes, including company trucks and other powered equipment
• Maintain inventory of replacement parts and equipment
• Regularly inspect and ensure the proper functioning of tools and equipment
• Keep maintenance repair logs updated for vehicles and equipment
• Ensure cleanliness of the workshop and return tools/parts to their designated places
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and core values
• Handle any other relevant assigned tasks
• Clean background check is required
