We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst on a hybrid contract role in Richmond VA to support Electronic Health Records Our government client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst on a remote 6 months renewable contract role in Mechanicsburg PA Agency requires the services of a Business Analyst staff augmentation consultant to assist technical staff in gathering and documenting system functional and system requirements for new development projects enhancements to existing applications Agency IT primarily uses Waterfall methodology while Agile is used for tracking project work Experience with both Waterfall Agile methodologies is encouraged We need someone who has skill expertise in eliciting documenting requirements in Waterfall environment Specific duties include Collects analyzes documents business rules processes legislation Leads business requirements gathering sessions with business technical resources Complex system development projects Analyzes legislation other documentation determines necessary IT changes changes to business processes required meets objectives agency initiative Works users develop implement improved business processes application IT system supports agency program policy Works users develop enhance system requirements Prepares reviews detailed functional specifications complex IT systems development enhancement projects Developers use coding Participates highly complex system development enhancement projects Prepares use cases types requirement documentation Executes responsibilities independently minimal guidance oversight Assists testing Preps preparation change requests planning prioritization change creation training materials Troubleshoots problems Works teams identify opportunities migrate correspondingly document necessary rules Performs SQL queries analysis purposes Performs related work as required Required Desired Skills Experience SDLC Waterfall Agile Methodology Writing Use Cases Requirements Documents Developing Functional Requirements Developing Business Requirements Reengineering Processes Applying knowledge PowerBI Reporting Data Visualization MS Office365 System Implementation Leading Workgroups Defining Schedules Milestones Metrics Healthcare experience excluding billing claims insurance Highly desired VITA Project Standards Desired Seniority level MidSenior level Employment type Contract Job function Research Analyst Information Technology Industries ITS Services Consulting
