    Description
    Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND RESERVE. Responsibilities You will research guidance to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepares summaries for use by managers. You will provide customer service to all levels of leadership. You will process a variety of financial transactions, reconciliations and reports for presentation to and use by leadership. You will utilize accounting systems to gather and update data. You will assist with forecasting of resources to ensure funding availability. You will assist in preparing budget estimates for financial reviews. You will track obligations and expenditures in accordance regulations to ensure accurate accounting of funds.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing and/ or evaluating budget requests and/or estimates to support plans, programs, and activities; 2) Entering and tracking financial transactions in automated financial systems; 3) Interpreting standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations; and 4) Utilizing integrated federal financial management systems and sub-systems to extract data, identify and resolve system problems, and maintain data integrity.

    Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

    master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B.

    PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
