- Active Speech Language Pathology (SLP) licensure is mandatory; state-specific licensure requirements apply.
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred and may be required by contract or state regulation.
- CPR certification is necessary if applicable.
- A TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray may be required if applicable.
- A current health certificate is necessary to meet federal, state, and local regulations.

Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist plays a critical role in the school setting, responsible for conducting student evaluations and providing therapy services in accordance with individualized plans of care.
Minimum Requirements:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is essential.
State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is mandatory.
A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly desirable.
Experience working in a school setting is beneficial.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success.
