    Position Description:

    The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for leading the growth of a given Area of Responsibility (AOR) maximizing opportunities within All Product Lines and engaging in direct sales. This position will be an experienced business development manager who can partner with multiple departments to drive measurable results that benefit our business. Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach and strengthens client relationships. Some other specific responsibilities include:

    Build and grow AOR Customer base with existing and new business opportunities in the Retail On & Off-Highway Markets.

    Identify and develop relationships with customers while prospecting opportunities with key industries within your AOR

    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions.

    Attend Regional industry trade and consumer events along with networking opportunities and other relevant meetings.

    Develop and execute a sales plan strategically focused on your AOR Industries

    Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.

    Follow the Sales plan executing the CRM with integrity and efficiency to ensure accuracy within the entire sales cycle from lead generation to close.

    Position Requirements

    Top candidates will have great customer service and team-building personalities. Knowledge of vehicles and heavy equipment is a huge plus and will make you stand out amongst the other candidates. BD roles are client-facing positions that require charisma, energy, and quick problem-solving.
