    Now filling 2nd and 3rd shift CNC Setup and CNC Machine Operator jobs

    In multiple locations and multiple shifts available with this great company in New Hampshire.

    We pay 20% more for 2nd shifters and 30% more for 3rd shifters.

    We're looking for experienced Operators who can run lathes with live tooling...

    or Swiss-designed CNC-operated lathes that turn parts in a radial motion as it cuts the workpiece.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    FOR MACHINE OPERATORS
    CNC Machine Operators run a variety of CNC equipment in company's production shop.
    Maintain and operate a variety of CNC equipment on the production floor.
    Make adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quality requirements
    Safely utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machines.
    Move materials and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    Identify and replace any broken or worn tools and make tool offsets.
    Visual inspection of surfaces to find defects.


    FOR MACHINE SETUPS
    5+ years of CNC Set-Up experience (primary function)
    Can set-up and map out CNC Horizontals, Verticals or Lathes.

    Has operated at least two of these types of machines proficiently: Horizontal Machining Centers, Vertical Machining (including multi axis) or CNC Lathes (multi-turrets).


    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    5+ years as a CNC Machine Operator.... Level III or equivalent.

    Can set-up CNC machines and map out machines such as CNC Horizontals, Verticals or product line (slides, frames, rifles or barrels).

    Can identify and replace worn or damaged fixturing components.
    Can make tooling recommendations and troubleshoot tooling problems.
    Can make or direct minor modifications to tooling.

    Can read programs and make changes to speeds and feeds as well as making fixture offsets without supervision on CNC Horizontals, Verticals or Lathes.

    Ability to perform calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part dimensions.
    Familiarity with variety of materials including aluminum, 400 series stainless, mild steel, etc.
    Familiarity and understanding of basic Lean principles including 5S and Visual Management.
    Machinist apprenticeship highly desired / Technical college work preferred.
    Has operated at least 2 of these types of machines proficiently:
    Horizontal Machining Centers
    Vertical Machining (including multi axis)
    CNC Lathes (multi-turrets).
