At Concentra, you will be a vital member of our patient care team and play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients Our mission is to improve the health of America's workforce, one patient at a time Join us at Concentra and see how your clinical competency and compassion can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients you serve The Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist performs routine x-ray examinations in accordance with Concentra policies practices, and procedures under direct supervision of the treating clinician as well as supports in other needed areas of the facility This role requires efficient accurate delivery oof one-on-one patient care while thriving in a fast-paced environment The RT MSS ensures that every patient is treated with quality clinical care receives an excellent patient experience from welcoming respectful skillful colleagues Radiologic Technologist Duties Prepare patients for radiologic procedures Escort patients to dressing x-ray rooms provide verbal written instructions assist patients positioning body parts radiographed Explain procedures observe Patients ensure patient safety comfort during exam Operate radiologic equipment produce images diagnostic purposes Position equipment adjust controls set exposure time distance according examination Take x-rays following established requirements regulations ensure patient safety
- Use radiation protection devices ensure safety Patients team members
- Maintain working order Ensure all workflows followed reports cross correctly EMR Follows documentation completes required related visit Maintain calibration QA/QC record keeping current policy guidelines
