Job summary
The University of Iowa Medical Center Downtown's Central Sterilizing Services department is seeking a full-time Central Service Technician I or Central Services Technician II.This position will perform technical duties involving all aspects of sterile processing: decontamination, preparation, packaging, sterilization and inventorying.
- Performs transportation of contaminated devices following infection prevention practices.
- Operates reprocessing equipment including automatic endoscope washers.
- Maintains a clean environment by adhering to Standard Precautions.
