    Description


    Ovenbird Café is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for creating memorable experiences, to join our team as an Assistant Catering Sales and Event Planner.

    This individual will play a key role in planning and executing successful events for guests, while being part of a growing team that is naturally supportive and upbeat.



    Key Responsibilities:

    • Interact one on one with existing and potential corporate and private catering clients.
    • Assist in the coordination/planning and execution of all aspects of catered events and deliveries.
    • Collaborate with in house teams and external vendors to ensure a seamless and stress-free event for client.
    • Oversee set up, execution, and breakdown of actual event.
    • Seek out and foster new catering leads.
    • Be innately hospitable and caring.

    Experience:

    • Proven experience in guest services with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction
    • 1 year of personnel management preferred.
    • Base understanding of budgeting, staffing, and hospitality trends.
