Job Description
Westminster University is hiring for an Adjunct position for Debate beginning Fall semester of 2024.
One Adjunct is needed to teach HON 300Z, Introduction to Debate, on Wednesdays from 4 to 4:50 pm on campus starting August 21 (time and day of class can possibly be changed.) This new course is designed to introduce students to the dynamic world of debate (specifically, parliamentary debate) and involve them in the shaping of Westminster's inaugural debate team. In addition to teaching this 1-credit course, the adjunct will be responsible for 1-2 hours of additional debate coaching per week for a small team whose members will have varied amounts of experience.
Position may be renewable for future semesters (Fall and Spring).

Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in related field and discipline-specific experience and/or a similar combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience and debate coach experience.
