- Work is performed at the Flint Cultural Center Academy and may include other areas of the school.
- There is limited exposure to physical risk.
- Transport students to and from cafeteria and playground.
- Provide and model directions for students on proper cafeteria manners.
- Ensure cafeteria and playground are safe environments.
- Administer lower level first aide to students.
- Be able to handle student disputes and concerns.
- Plan and implement daily age appropriate activities on playground or inside recess.
- Work in cooperation with the principal.
- Follow all program and district rules, policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional attitude and loyalty to the school.
- Treat each individual with respect and dignity.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the principal.
- Previous work with school age students preferred.
- Must be able to relate well to elementary students, school personnel and the general public.

Summary: The Lunchroom/Playground Aide is responsible for ensuring the safety and supervision of students in both the lunchroom and playground areas.
Terms of Employment: 10:30-1:30 Monday through Friday, student days only and may be adjusted as agreed to between Principal and Employee. Possibly of additional hours.
Work Environment:
$12 per hour based upon qualifications and experience
