- Assists the Supervisor with the management of day to day operations of CORE Kids. Supervises staff including staff scheduling; ensures staff is trained; ensures employees understand and follow policies and procedures; maintains a healthy and safe working environment; and makes staff disciplinary recommendations.
- Oversees the CORE Kids Specialists and assists with kid watch.
- Supervises the check-in and check-out procedures for accuracy, child safety, customer service, and filing or electronically scanning of all COREkids forms.
- Oversees the upkeep of the CORE Kids area.
- Maintains direct communication with the CORE Kids Supervisor and Guest Services Coordinators regarding any issues or concerns with staff and/or guests.
- May assist Guest Services Coordinator with employee evaluations.
- Articulates knowledge of programs and services, policies, and procedures.
- Adheres to assigned work schedule.
- Implements the CORE mission and Team Standards.
- Follows all Standard Operating Procedures within CORE Kids.
- Reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors or abuse.
- May serve on various employee committees, as required and assigned.

WORK BEHAVIORS
This position is subject to the City of Hobbs' Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy which includes one or more of the following: pre-employment testing, post accident testing, random testing, reasonable suspicion testing, return to duty testing and follow-up testing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from high school or high school equivalency (HSE) preferred with at least one (1) year of childcare experience required.
Customer service experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

SUPERVISION RECEIVED
