    Description
    Our Support Engineers provide extraordinary service to our clients by resolving their day-to-day IT issues efficiently and effectively.
    Our Support Engineers are resourceful, enjoy serving and engaging with customers, and have a deep love for technology.

    As the first touchpoint for the client, you will provide an excellent first experience for all service desk tickets.
    Own and solve support tickets as issues arise for your clients.

    When unable to resolve a ticket for the client, provide them with a clear and efficient path leading them to the person who can solve their problem.

    Perform preventative maintenance tasks on servers, end-user devices, and network equipment.
    Test and install hardware and software.
    Stage new hardware in preparation for deployment into a production environment.

    Document common client issues and how you resolved those issues to create a record, but will also help us learn how to serve our clients better.

    Be intentional about collaboration and communication with team members. Commit to keeping promises made to your teammates.
    Be willing to travel in order to assist local clients, when necessary.
    Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members.

    RequirementsAs a Support Engineer at Lazorpoint, you must also have a certain level of technical and interpersonal capabilities to perform at a high level.

    Has an understanding of extraordinary service and a deep desire to provide every customer with the greatest experience.
    Has excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
    Can translate and clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
    Has experience in Microsoft Windows.
    Has strong problem-solving abilities, and can find resolutions to issues through research and working directly with senior engineers.
    Has excellent organizational and analytical skills.
    Can produce high-quality outcomes, both individually and in collaboration with teammates.
    Has a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or another related field.
    Technical certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, Citrix, CompTIA, Apple, etc. are not required, but definitely a plus.
