    Role Summary/Purpose:

    Synchrony is continuing to build a world-class Performance Media and Creative Organization committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Within this organization, our Paid Media Team is focused on achieving growth by making data-driven decisions to create meaningful interactions with existing and potential customers by focusing on capturing business requirements and ensuring flawless execution of campaigns. We are seeking an AVP Ad Tech Product Manager, to lead and manage the technology for on-property ad serving and inventory management. In this role you will own the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of Ad Serving platform(s) working collaboratively across functional teams. You will drive the integration of our current set of solutions (Kevel, DV360) into a single cohesive solution, delivering overall media supply volume for Synchrony.

    This role involves understanding of the product, technical acumen, and project management, identifying opportunities, , and managing projects from inception to completion, with an immediate focus on expanding our presence in the marketplace landscape broadening across Synchrony on property platforms. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a pivotal role in the growth of our marketplace operations.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Define and refine the product vision and roadmap: Conduct user research, analyze market trends, and translate insights into actionable product plans. Prioritize features based on data-driven insights and stakeholder needs.
    • Serve as primary product contact for Ad Server platform and lead platform integration with cross-functional partners
    • Own the product backlog: Manage the user story backlog, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with the overall product vision. Work closely with the engineering team to break down user stories into manageable tasks.
    • Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints
    • Maintain and organize internal documentation related to Ad Server Product to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key marketplace stakeholders exploring collaboration opportunities.
    • Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of our marketplace.
    • Stay informed about Marketplace policies, regulations, and best practices.
    • Address client questions and concerns regarding new marketplace initiatives.
    • Drive product development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) to ensure seamless product development and execution.
    • Measure success: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product impact and user satisfaction. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and iterate on product features.
    • Stay ahead of the curve: Conduct competitive analysis and track industry trends to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
    • Communicate effectively: Clearly communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders across the organization. Foster collaboration and alignment across teams.
    • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 7 years in Ad Operations along with Product Owner/Manager experience
    • 3+ years in Ad Operations along with Product Owner/Manager experience
    • 3+ Ad Serving (such as Google Campaign Manager, Kevel)
    • Experience working in the financial category and within a Retail Media Network is a plus.
    • Working knowledge of product development architecture with hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
    • Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
    • Proficiency in the use of analytic tools (Google Analytics, Adobe)

    Desired Characteristics:

    • In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology (certifications a plus)
    • Hands-on experience working with Kevel is a plus.
    • Proven experience in marketplace strategy, development, and management.
    • Strong project management skills with a record of accomplishment of successful project executions.
    • Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to review and analyze information to ensure accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills for internal meetings/presentations.
    • Creative and resourceful; proven ability to problem-solve and look for innovative ideas.
    • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
    • Assertive, adaptable, and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

    Grade/Level: 11

    The salary range for this position is 90, ,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

    Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

    Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • You must be 18 years or older
    • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
    • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
    • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
    • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you dont meet the time in position or performance expectations).
