    Job title :: Communications Coordinator

    Pay Rate :: $15-16 per hour

    Duration :: 12+ Months Contract

    Location :: Bowling Green, Kentucky ONSITE)

    Shift :: Mon – Fri [Flexible - The manager is flexible with the start time and overall hours. The hours will depend on the student's school schedule.]

    Responsibilities:


    • Support Senior Communications Manager in the development and execution of employee enthusiasm events, fostering a positive and engaging experience for participants.


    • Support Senior Communications Manager in managing media requests, inquiries and interactions.


    • Support Senior Communications Manager in the organization and facilitation of leadership and public visits, including scripting and agenda development.


    • Keep the workforce informed about GM's official product information and plant actions through regular communication channels.


    • Create internal plant videos for internal and external use, showcasing the plant's activities and achievements.


    • Enhance GM's storytelling initiatives with employee, customer, and community interviews.


    • Assist in speechwriting and presentation development for plant leadership.


    • Coordinate plant volunteers and representatives for public-facing events.


    • Support the planning and communication of various in-plant meetings.

    Qualifications:


    • Strong organizational and project management skills.


    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.


    • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.


    • Proficiency in photography, video shooting, editing, and production software is a plus.


    • Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus.


    • Knowledge of media relations is beneficial.

    Education/Experience:


    High school diploma or GED required. Student enrollment into college is required***


    • 0-2 years related experience required.
