    Serve as primary contact for Business Unit/W-Industries Company customers purchasing Engineered To Order (ETO) products. Responsible for project cost, schedule, and overall project results. Ensure regular contact with customers and all other stakeholders (internal and external) involved in the sale, design, production, integration and installation of electrical equipment, electrical equipment center, and related products.

    Requirements:
    • Ensure project is executed in accordance with the Contract/PO and specifications.
    • Establish and manage project schedule with internal and external customers to meet the project schedule.
    • Identify, obtain, negotiate, and manage change orders, obtain necessary approvals before initiation of work, and process change orders throughout the project.
    • Analyze project revenue, cost, and profitability, including material and labor costs against project quote. Resolve discrepancies and report on profitability of projects.
    • Update milestone billing report and ensure accurate invoices are sent in a timely manner. Follow up with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices.
    • Serve as primary customer contact from time of contract until completed product is delivered and installed, as well as liaison between customer and Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, Purchasing and Shipping departments.
    • Review customer specifications, project quotes, and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
    • Schedule and lead internal and external project kick-off meetings as well as project and design reviews between Design, Manufacturing, Production Engineering and Sales and customer.
    • Identify and communicate early on any issues and risks with customers, suppliers, and CSE. Drive resolution, keeping project on track when issues arise and communicating delays when necessary.
    • Serve as single point of contact to management for all project information and status updates.
    • Participate in contract negotiations and follow through entire project.
    • Ensure the requirements and requisitions for procured items are provided to Materials Departments in a timely manner.
    • Track the status of the procured and project items to ensure delivery meets project timeline.
    • Support and adhere to safety and quality standards to ensure requirements are met.
    • Review structural, mechanical, and electrical designs for accuracy according to customer specifications.
    • Ensure punch list items are completed as scheduled.
    • Maintain dashboard metrics and status of projects in ERP system.
    • Ensure Project close out process is completed.
    • Coordinate customer visits to company facilities; ensure meeting rooms, facilities, and supplies are available organized.
    • Schedule customers, subcontractors, and vendors to perform inspections, FAT testing, end user testing, and other work at the plants. Ensure the customers and vendors are escorted during FAT testing and inspections.
    • Promote potential additional sales opportunities with existing customers.
    • Perform any additional duties as requested by customer or management.

    Required Skills

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience dealing with customers on long-term projects.
    • Experience with industrial electrical systems, and ability to interpret and design to varying specifications, and ensure compliance with NEC and other regulatory requirements.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with production personnel, designers, engineers, management, customers, and regulatory agencies.
    • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and customers, balancing customer needs and requests with production and delivery availability.

    • Experience dealing with cultural diversity of a global business environment.
    • ANSI, NEMA, IEC standards, and NEC and other electrical codes and regulations applicable to projects (preferred).
    • Experience analyzing and designing power and control circuits, including MCC, switchgear, power transformers, distribution panels and transfer switches (preferred).
    • Experience in Systems Integration; coordinating multiple power distribution, instrumentation & control, and ancillary support equipment platforms into a single integrated system. Identifying and facilitating communication between all stakeholders to ensure a successful integration process, including Clients, EPC firms, vendors, and internal resources.

    Required Experience & Education

    • 5+ years of Project Management experience, preferably within Industrial Manufacturing
    • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred, or at least 5 years' experience in industrial electrical engineering field.
    • PMP Certification preferred.

    Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk.
    • Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking.
    • Some lifting (up to 30 lbs.). Long hours on computer keyboard.
