Description

Function:

Shipping / Receiving oversees all inbound and outbound shipments daily. This includes scheduling, packaging, and tracking for parcels and shipments. They also will stay in touch with various shipping/logistics vendors to ensure that Clearwing is getting the most competitive shipping rates possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, ship, and process shipments.
• Skilled order builder and wrapper with enthusiasm for improving teamwork, safety procedures, communications, and logistics.
• Work in a dock environment, operating warehouse forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies to physically move materials/container.
• Monitor shipping and supply expenses to ensure that our costs stay as minimal as possible.
• Ensure the warehouse is organized, safe and follows all safety procedures according to company policy.
• Provided customer service and accountability for the storage of all incoming freight including part identification.
• Provide support for logistics management and other various logistics support programs.
• Coordinated proper metering of outbound packages shipping via commercial logistics companies to ensure proper destination and company billing.
• Check products against production schedules, order confirmation, purchase orders, packing slips/lists to ensure accuracy.
• Work with Warehouse Manager to ensure safety regulations governed by OSHA requirements.
• Consult with key management to contribute to daily outbound warehouse operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

• One (1) year working experience in the entertainment industry in warehouse environments preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Mac and Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Drivers' License and clean MVR
• OSHA 10 Certification
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Forklift, Boom Lift, and Scissor Lift certifications preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.

Physical Working Conditions:

• Regularly bend, twist, stretch, push, pull and carry, lift 50-75 lbs.
• Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Walk up and down stairs or ladders.
• May work in extreme weather/environmental conditions such as rain, heat, snow, humidity, dust, and loud noise
• May work "on-call" as needed, including some nights and weekends.
• Work long hours and overtime as required.
