**The Opportunity**
As a _Project Controls Associate 1_ , you will be assigned to either a role in scheduling, cost analysis, or a combination of both. This position performs routine project controls assignments according to training, capability, and experience.? In addition to performing duties as assigned, this position will be primarily focused on developing knowledge regarding scheduling, costing, and concepts related to industry technology and project management.
**Key Responsibilities**
Gain working knowledge of industry, technologies, project execution, cost, schedule, and financial systems.? General understanding of budgets.?

**Minimum Qualifications**
Four year Bachelor's degree or local equivalent required, or equivalent experience. No experience required with a four year Bachelor's degree or local equivalent.

**Work Environment**
Professionals located near a Black & Veatch office have the option of a hybrid work model that offers a balance between working together in person and the flexibility of remote work. Our hybrid work model means you will work three days in the office and two days from another location of your choice.
**This position will located on a field project assignment in Kirksville, Missouri. Must have reliable transportation.**
