- Architect and build a scalable WMS platform from scratch
- Design multi-tenant SaaS-ready database architecture
- Implement event-driven inventory transaction systems
- Design picking, packing, bin location, and inventory movement logic
- Build robust audit logging and role-based access control
- Work closely with operations team to translate real warehouse workflows into scalable software
- Establish coding standards, testing strategy, and documentation practices
- Guide and review execution-level developers
- 5+ years backend development experience
- Strong experience with TypeScript and (NestJS preferred)
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL (indexing, performance tuning, multi-tenant schema design)
- Experience building inventory, warehouse, ERP, OMS, or logistics systems
- Experience designing event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)
- Experience building role-based access control systems
- Experience with scalable cloud architecture (AWS preferred)
- Strong understanding of transactional systems and data integrity
- Previous WMS or 3PL software experience
- SaaS product architecture experience
- Experience building internal tools that later became commercial products
- Frontend experience with React / TypeScript
- DevOps experience (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)

We are building our own Warehouse Management System (WMS) from scratch to support our expanding operations.
This system will initially power our internal warehouse but is being architected for future SaaS commercialization.
We are looking for a highly experienced engineer who has built or architected a WMS, OMS, ERP module, or similar operational system before.
Role Overview
You will lead the architecture and development of a production-grade WMS platform designed for scalability, multi-tenant capability, and future SaaS expansion.
You must have experience building complex inventory, warehouse, or logistics systems - not just marketing websites or CRUD applications.Key Responsibilities
