We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client's team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of multiple entities within the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. This role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple entities, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
• Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for significant discrepancies.
• Implement budgeting and forecasting processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks affecting the company's performance.
• Provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by senior management.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure timely completion of audit requests.
• Identify areas of improvement in internal controls and implement corrective actions as needed.

Team Management:

• Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure professional development and performance excellence.
• Delegate tasks effectively and manage workload distribution to optimize team productivity.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting OR Finance
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
