    Job Requirements


    Education Requirements:
    High school diploma or equivalent; Nursing degree required


    Certifications Requirements:
    BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC; BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) certification preferred


    Experience Requirements:
    0+ years of experience; 2 years of ED RN experience preferred but not required


    Other Requirements:
    Ability to pass EKG competency exam, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a busy environment, flexibility to work holidays, and a valid driver's license

    Job Responsibilities


    Provide skilled emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment, accurately assessing patient conditions and prioritizing care based on acuity.

    Administer medications and IV drips such as Heparin, Insulin, Cardene, Dopamine, Epinephrine, Fentanyl, Propofol, and Levophed under physician orders.

    Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry to identify and respond to arrhythmias promptly, passing EKG competency exams as required.

    Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including CNAs, phlebotomists, RTs, and hospitalists to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    Maintain documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses using EPIC electronic medical records system accurately and timely.
