    Overview

    As an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer at ENERCON, you'll join a vibrant, innovative team dedicated to evaluating and designing power systems for power-generating facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for early-career engineers with 1-3 years of experience who are passionate about developing their skills and positively impacting their field.

    Your role will involve cross-disciplinary collaboration, where you will gain insights into how electrical engineering interacts with mechanical, civil, and other engineering specialties. You'll take ownership of your projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality autonomously, all while delivering high-quality engineering documents that align with industry codes, standards, and client expectations.

    You'll keep updated with the latest industry standards and safety practices, particularly in the nuclear sector, to provide innovative and compliant solutions. Your contributions will directly address client needs, supporting the success of complex engineering projects.

    Building strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration will be key to your role. Site visits will allow you to explore plant systems and structures, interact with client personnel, and observe your engineering solutions implemented in real-world scenarios.

    What Qualifications Will Help You Succeed?

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
    • Availability to start within the next 1-3 months.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
    • Familiarity with industry standards, interest in prototyping and testing, and capability to create comprehensive design documentation is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
    • Able to navigate client sites for walkdowns.
    • Willingness to work outdoors and travel for projects or meetings.
    • Please Note: Some positions may require U.S. citizenship due to federal contract regulations.

    Employment Requirements:

    • Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record checks in accordance with company and client policies.

    Salary Range:

    This full-time position has a salary range of $80, $99, Salary within this range will be determined based on role, level, experience, and location.
