    Software Engineer - Integrations


    We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer to join our logistics startup, specializing in same-day shipping for e-commerce merchants.

    You will play a crucial role in expanding our integrations with popular e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify, and building connections with Warehouse Management Systems (WMSs) and cloud communications platforms, like Twilio.

    Your expertise in developing robust and scalable solutions will be instrumental in ensuring seamless order fulfillment and efficient communication processes.

    Tasks

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and develop integration strategies for e-commerce platforms, focusing primarily on Shopify.

    Design, develop, and maintain solutions to synchronize order and inventory data between our logistics system and e-commerce platforms.

    Build scalable integrations with Warehouse Management Systems (WMSs) to optimize order routing, inventory management, and fulfillment processes.


    Develop and maintain integrations with cloud communications platforms, such as Twilio, to enable real-time notifications, alerts, and tracking updates for merchants and customers.

    Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of code to ensure reliability, data accuracy, and system stability.

    Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and third-party developers to coordinate projects and resolve technical issues.

    Stay updated with the latest technologies in e-commerce and logistics, and proactively propose innovative solutions to enhance our capabilities.

    Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security protocols.

    Document processes, APIs, and system architectures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure effective onboarding of new team members.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered, ideally 1-3 years.

    Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role, preferably within the e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain domain.

    Strong proficiency in building integrations with e-commerce platforms, specifically Shopify, using RESTful APIs, webhooks, and other relevant technologies.

    Solid understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.

    Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with Experience with SQL and Python is a plus.

    Familiarity with cloud communications platforms, such as Twilio, and experience incorporating messaging, voice, and notifications services.

    Experience with API design, development, and documentation using tools like Swagger or Postman.

    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical challenges, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions within given timelines.

    Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMSs) and experience with industry-standard WMSs is a plus.

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

    $100k - $125k
