- Salary: $24-28
- Shift: M-F 6:00am to 2:30pm
- May give work assignments and provide guidance to the Welder I staff as assigned
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings for larger and complicated jobs or welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as TIG and MIG
- Able to work with 16-18-gauge material.
- Structural Welding 1⁄2 to 6".
- Fluxcore a plus.
- Knowledge and experience to determine when materials may bend and how to prevent this from happening
- Use electric/air tools and power tools as required
- Scan all jobs through the Made2Manage (M2M) system
- Must be willing to submit to a clinic drug test and physical prior to start
- Three years' experience as Welder I or a welding certification and three years welding experience or completion of a three year apprenticeship program or a combination of three years of work experience in the trade and some college or industry courses in welding is desirable
- Trade certification preferred
- Working knowledge of welding materials and equipment
- Forklift, pallet jack and hoist experience desirable
- Must be able to read and use a tape measure
