    Description
    :

    We are currently looking to add someone to our Quality Assurance Department at our manufacturing and distribution center in Saratoga Springs, NY.

    The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail in order to create, update, and maintain food safety documentation.


    Duties:

    • Ensure all products are accurately labeled and in compliance with labeling regulations.
    • Develop Nutrition Facts Panels and Ingredient Statements for new products.
    • Supply chain management activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
    • Review and file Certificates of Analysis for incoming products.
    • Create, review, and modify Food Safety Plans for each product.
    • Tracking and logging training records.
    • Assist with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) audits, Environmental Monitoring Program, and other QA responsibilities as needed

    Requirements:

    • Must be reliable, organized, and self-motivated.
    • Must be thorough, with good attention to detail and strong writing skills.
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Must have strong communication skills.
    • Must be knowledgeable of food safety and good manufacturing practices.
    • Must possess good math skills and be comfortable working with numbers.
    • Obtain Preventive Control Qualified Individual (PCQI) certification.
    • Complete training to become familiar with food and dairy labeling requirements

    Schedule:
    Full time, Monday - Friday 8:00a - 4:30p, and additional hours as needed
