    Description

    Job Title: Associate Electrical Engineer

    Company: SSOE

    Description: We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in consulting design within the electrical power, lighting, and grounding systems for Healthcare, Education, and Commercial buildings. As the electrical team leader, you will work on various projects, collaborating with designers and operators using software like AutoCAD and Revit. Your responsibilities will include leading small to medium-sized projects, reporting directly to the Section Manager, and supporting senior engineers on larger projects.

    Our Electrical Engineers collaborate with Mechanical, Structural, and Civil Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers to create innovative designs that meet project requirements efficiently and on time.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide electrical team leadership and support on selected projects.
    • Produce designs using design software, directing designers, and collaborating with AutoCAD and Revit operators.
    • Offer expertise in project design, construction, software, cost, and scheduling.
    • Modify master specifications as per project needs.
    • Assist in estimating design fees for project proposals and change orders.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required for licensure.
    • Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certification and PE track are beneficial.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in power and lighting systems.
    • Previous consulting firm experience is advantageous.
    • LC Certification is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Strong communication skills to lead junior staff and delegate tasks.
    • Capability to interact directly with clients professionally.
    • Experience with remote teamwork and client communication.
    • Knowledge of Revit software preferred.

    Benefits:

    • Salary Range: $90,000-$115,000/year based on location, education, experience, and relevant certifications.
