    Description
    We have an immediate opening for a full-time experienced diesel mechanic and helper for heavy equipment including rail equipment and spotter trucks, working field service, and in-shop. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical for field service and shop duties ranging from Preventative Maintenance service to diagnosing and repairing onsite. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM thru 3:30 PM.

    Requirements:
    • Diesel mechanic experience.
    • Ability to be on-call after hours and weekends once a month.
    • Must be prompt to work.
    • Ability to read and comprehend service manuals.
    • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
    • Basic math skills.
    • The ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
    • Computer proficiency.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with both management and customers.
    • Must be courteous and customer-service-oriented.
    • Must provide own tools.
    • Valid standard driver's license.
    • Must successfully complete a drug screen, background check, and safety training thru several safety courses.
    • Must successfully obtain or have a TWIC card.
    • High school diploma or GED.
