    Business Intelligence Developer - Qlik Sense / Qlik View
    LOCATION     Irving, TX OR Charlotte, NC Hybrid (Onsite 3-4 days a week in Irving, TX or Charlotte, NC depending on candidate location)
    JOB TYPE: Direct hire
    SALARY: Depending on Experience - Full package includes competitive base salary, profit share and employee benefits

    OVERVIEW
     Vaco Dallas is presently seeking a seasoned and proficient Business Intelligence Developer (Qlik Sense / Qlik View) for a direct hire role based in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong aptitude for translating business requirements into actionable insights and user-friendly BI dashboards. As the primary individual in this role, the candidate will predominantly engage with Qlik Sense to design and uphold BI dashboards. Additionally, they will play a pivotal role in facilitating the migration from the legacy system in Qlik View to Qlik Sense.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
    • Develop, design, and maintain interactive and visually appealing BI dashboards using Qlik Sense.
    • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all BI solutions by implementing rigorous data validation processes.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all BI dashboard-related inquiries and support needs.
    • Lead design sessions / whiteboard conversations and rapidly build proof of concepts.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in BI and data visualization techniques.
    • Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of BI dashboards.
    • Provide expertise on data governance and data management.
    • Lead efforts to normalize & resolve data quality issues.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 5-7 years of pertinent experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields.
    • Demonstrated expertise in data warehousing.
    • Proven track record in designing, developing, and maintaining BI dashboards using Qlik Sense and Qlik View.
    • Established proficiency in advanced analytics.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, adept at handling large and complex datasets.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    • Capacity to work autonomously and oversee multiple projects concurrently.
    • Meticulous attention to detail coupled with a commitment to delivering top-tier BI solutions.
    • Executive presence, adept at leading design sessions encompassing stakeholders from C-Suite executives to shop floor staff.
    • Previous experience in training and mentoring team members is advantageous.

    NICE-TO-HAVE

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
    • Experience with SQL, Oracle DB, SQL Server
    • Previous experience in the industrial distribution sector.


    In our commitment to transparency throughout the hiring process, we provide a target annual base salary range of $110,000 - $130,000 for this position in addition to profit share options. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) experience, work location, and skills. Additionally, this position is eligible for comprehensive benefits provided by the hiring employer.
