    Description

    Job Summary:

    The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at BrightStar Care of Hilton Head is responsible for providing compassionate and quality care to patients in the Savannah, Georgia area.

    As a key member of our healthcare team, the CNA will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) to assist with daily living activities, monitor patient health status, and provide essential support to ensure our patients' wellbeing.


    CNA Responsibilities:

    • Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation
    • Administering prescribed medications and treatments, as directed by the RN
    • Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and reporting any changes to the RN
    • Assisting with range of motion exercises and other rehabilitative measures
    • Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
    • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
    • Communicating effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team
    • Documenting all patient care observations and activities in accordance with company policies and procedures Requirements:
    • Current CNA certification in the state of Georgia
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Compassionate and patientfocused mindset
    • Physical ability to lift and transfer patients, as needed
    • Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends and holidays, as necessary
