Controller | $120k - $140k + Bonus

We're in search of a Controller to join a low-middle-market manufacturing company. Reporting to the CFO, this role will oversee the accounting and finance function for this growing, PE-backed business, offering significant visibility within the organization and the chance to enhance accounting processes in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

• analytical support to the leadership team, managing KPIs and conducting cost analysis.
• the monthly financial close process, preparing statements and reports.
• monthly forecasting with the local management team.
• and present annual budgets and strategic plans.
• standard cost and manufacturing account system, along with all plant accounting functions.
• capital spending and cost-saving projects.
• implement, and monitor internal controls, overseeing external and internal audits.
• assess plant and finance processes for GAAP compliance and improvement opportunities.
• two to three direct reports.

Requirements:

• degree in accounting or related
• understanding of US GAAP
• years of experience in manufacturing accounting
• cost accounting and inventory control expertise
• leadership and interpersonal skills.
